Creative Director and Dance Instructor
Deepti is a dance instructor located in Edmonton, Alberta. She has learnt formal Bharatnatyam (classical dance from the state of Tamil Nadu, India) from the young age of three under the mentorship of Srimati Girija Rajendran from Kalashetra Bani, Tamil Nadu. She is also well versed in Mohiniyattam (classical dance art form of the state of Kerala, India) which she has been practicing from the age of eight under the mentorship of Srimati Sarojini Iyer from Thiruvanathapuram. She has earned accolades of credits attending various dance workshops around the word through her career and specializes in Bollywood Dancing. She was the head choreographer in “The Hail Foundation” of CMS College Alumina 1999 in Dubai, U.A.E. Deepti instructs Bollywood dance lessons and conducts dance workshops for all ages and choreographs dances for various events. She has also a lot of experience in instructing children's dance classes in Edmonton.
Deepti has also designed and compiled a new dance work out program called Bolly-D Dance Fitness (Bollyrobics) which has gained great popularity all around Alberta and has been featured in the Edmonton Journal, CTV Two - Alberta Primetime, Breakfast Television, CBC Radio and Shaw TV, etc...
